Luo Mei Juan
Tai Chi Master

Master Luo has more than 10 years of experience teaching tai chi to students from around the world. She operates the Long Tou Shan Martial Arts School in Yangshuo, China, formerly known as the Wu Wei Center.
From her
youngest days with her father, a Kung Fu master, Mei has loved the
martial arts. But because her father is very traditional, he
refused to teach his skills to a girl. So
as soon as she was old enough, she went to study
under Fu Neng Bin, in Nanning, and later with Chen Zheng Lei,
of the actual Chen family. Chen Zheng Lei is recognized by
the government as one of the ten great martial arts masters of China.
In Chen village Mei was certified as a Tai Chi
master. Now she has practiced Tai Chi for more than
20 years.
At the elite
competition in Zhengzhou, China, an annual, nationwide meet, Mei has
won two bronze and one silver medal, and she has won a silver
medal in the Guangxi competition. She also regularly gives
demonstrations and presentations at public events.
Mei gives lessons in both Yang and traditional Chen style tai ji quan (tai chi), and the use of sword and fan. She also offers lessons in qigong and yoga. Mei speaks Chinese and English.
